The Mondo Skill Builder aims to be a foundation course to help novices and starter adventure riders. For some people Mini Mondo was a little too intense. It was clear that many riders needed some low pressure ‘quiet’ riding to build skill and confidence. This project was born out of the Mini Mondo Wilderness Project. Skills offered include, bike set up and maintenance, Kit tips, advanced trail reading/planning, navigation, group riding etiquette, safe braking on broken surfaces, cornering techniques and how to get over obsticles. All week you will have plenty of time to practice getting it right, you will be amazed how much you improve!!! Expect things to get more difficult and arduous as the week goes on, this is a progressive week, as you become more confident the trails continue to challenge. All week your guide will offer top tips and hints that helped him become a competent trail rider. I have put together a program that will enable you to build confidence improve safety and feel in control of your bike.
